Denholme Community Association meetings: Reading Room at 7.00pm. Everyone welcome. We will be discussing the upkeep of the Mechanics building and it’s possible future uses for the community. Next meetings: 12th April, 24th May, 5th July, 6th September, 25th October 2010
Denholme Shared Church: Children’s activity morning on the 13th March 2010. All 5 to 11 year olds are welcome to come along. The cost is £1.50 to cover materials. Crafts, stories, games and refreshments from 10am to 12 noon.
Spring Fair on Saturday 17th April 2010 between 11am to 2pm. Lots of stalls and a homemade meat and potato pie lunch for £7.
Summer Sunday Bandstand Concerts at Foster Park: Performance times are 2-4pm 16th May 2010, 13th June, 11th July, 8th August, 5th September.
Denholme Town Council meetings: 3rd Tuesday each month: The Town Council meets at the Mechanics Institute and the public can come and speak for the first ten minutes. However, anyone can come and sit and listen to any Council meeting, but not to speak.

Tina is also on the committee for Bradford Community Broadcasting (BCB 96.7 fm to 106.6 fm) and has a two hour programme on Thursday called the Afternoon Stretch with Alan Keeling from 2-4 pm. She is always looking for guests to talk about interesting things they have done or are planning to do or about difficulties faced in general regarding community issues. Tina also has a slot for writers only, which runs monthly on a Tuesday evening from 6.30 pm to 7.00 pm. It is called the Scribe Slot and is not for well published folk, but a step on the ladder to fame with the backing of the Bradford Writers Circle name behind it.
